I am not inside of me

An album of original instrumental music. Dim Badu is the odd one out this mix. Made purely from the sounds that came with my Mac. Recorded using Garage Band in an airport while enduring a long layover. It sounds like a song from a corporate training video written by a depressed undertaker.

All songs written and performed by Mark Oppenneer unless otherwise noted.

Cover art by Joel Nakamura (www.joelnakamura.com).

Autumn Requiem
I wrote this song for my Mom’s memorial. She passed on October 3rd, 2011. The memorial was really very nice. It was presided over by Pastor Pat Williams, a wonderful woman and good friend to my mother. I am thankful that so many folks came out to show their love for my Mom.

Thanks Mark for sharing your music — It was nice to hear you on the piano again sharing your inspired heart felt composition to and for your Mom — hope to see you again sometime in the future — Red

Thanks for the heart-felt words in your email. Your talent has matured over the years and this song is your best one yet. Love, Dad

This is truly a beautiful song! I am very sad to hear about your mother passing. I had visited her websites a few months back when looking for a dachshund. Went back to see how everything was and learned the sad news. May she RIP!

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. It was a pleasure to have known her. I remember the few times we got together for the reunions. It was a great time and she was such a kind person. We just lost our Dachshund that we got from your kennel. What a loss but we will look for another for sure.
